Coming in for a closer look
Early morning at Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge, this Bald Eagle was perched near the road. To my suprise, he allowed me to approach using my car as a blind. After sitting with him for a few minutes another car pulled over and spooked him. It was too quick to react, but he came directly over my head as he flew off into the distance. An incredible moment shared with this beatiful bird.
